	Outstanding! 3 pts	Good ! 2 pts	Okay... 1 pts	Not there! 0 pts
Quality	Outstanding! Entries are titled, dated and show your personality and fluency as a thinker and as a writer. You've used illustrations or symbols to mark important passages.	Good ! Entries show your emerging fluency as a thinker and writer.	Okay... Entries are cut and dried with little elaboration and tend to be very brief.	Not there! More drawings and graffiti than actual writing.
Quantity of Entries	Outstanding! There are 50 - 68 entries from a paragraph to a full page in length.	Good ! 40-50 entries from a paragraph to a full page in length.	Okay... At least 20 entries are a paragraph or a full page in length.	Not there! Less than 20 paragraph or full page entries.
Appearance	Outstanding! Your notebook looks like you treasure your writing. You're using a composition book or better quality journal.	Good ! Your entries are usually neat and your notebook is well cared for. You're using a composition book.	Okay... Entries are sloppy and completely unorganized. Notebook is unkempt. Many pages are skipped or are partially used. You're using a spiral bound or looseleaf notebook.	Not there! Your notebook and entries are not cared for at all or non-existent.
