Viewing: Haiku Book Creator Students must write a Haiku and create a book of poetry using Book Creator. They must included pictures and colours that help tell their story. Syllables	Developing Student were able to identify the number of syllables for some words.	Developed Students were able to identify the sylables for simple sight words.	Well Developed Students were able to identify syllables for all words used within their Haiku, including the use of some complex, multisyllable words.
Haiku	Developing Student struggled to follow the 5,7,5 pattern of a Haiku.	Developed Students almost mangaged to follow the correct 5,7,5 format. Only 1 or 2 errors.	Well Developed Students followed the 5,7,5 format without any assistance required.
Pictures	Developing Student chose pictures that were inappropriate or not relavent to their Haiku.	Developed Student included a picture that was appropriate but it did not enhance the story of the Haiku.	Well Developed Student chose pictures that were appropriate and enhanced the story told in their Haiku.
Colour	Developing Student did not consider colour when creating their poem page. Or student used colour inappropriately.	Developed Student used colour to enhance thier Haiku. Used only 1 or 2 colours.	Well Developed Student really considered how colour can effect emotion and used this to enhance thier Haiku.
Camera Angle	Developing Student did not appear to consider the effect camera angle has on emotion when choosing their picture.	Developed Student appeared to consider the effect camera angle has on the reader but used basic shots, close up, medium and long.	Well Developed Student appeared to consider the effect camera angle has on the reader and used a range of different anlges.
