Content completeness

Building Skills

There is more that one missing project, there may be 1 or more missing page/section. Rationale is incomplete, missing, or does not connect fluidly with the posted project. Project links or rationale do not link with your projects or experiences.
Approaching Proficiency

There may be 1 projects missing throughout the entire site. Rationale/context may not communicate why the project presented illustrates the skills levels or the appropriateness of the tool to meet the needs of that section. Some projects may not really show your skill set (what you know and can do with the tool)
Proficient

There is a page for each required subject: home, tech-enhanced class, creating content, communications, assessment and PLN. Each page includes a minimum of the 3 posted projects and rationale (Home and PLN page have the listed requirements). There is a rationale/context for all posted projects. All posted projects illustrate your skills through showing what you have and can do (project which can't be shared include screen shots or video walk-throughs of your project).
Exceeds Proficiency

The variety and choice of multimedia enhances the site-visitor experience and care is taken to curate just the 'right' project to illustrate each topic. The project link choices create an interactive environment for the site visitor.
User experience

Building Skills

The navigation menu may be missing key project elements. The intro page may be unprofessional, incomplete or confusing to a site visitor. There may be many broken links.
Approaching Proficiency

There may be a lack of types of multimedia used (ie: all text), some external quotes or embedded content are broken, or not working. Navigation menu may be confusing. Home page may not make it clear why the reader is there, or what the site is about. There may be inconsistent voice between pages.
Proficient

There is a home page that introduces you and let's the view know why they are there. Navigation menu makes it easy to find your work. there is a variety of multi-media used, and all media and links are in working order. External quotes or images (if used) have appropriate citations.
Exceeds Proficiency

The home page introduced the reader to author in a way that is engaging and professional. There is good flow between pages, and a consistent audience voice that greatly enhances the readability and quality of the site.
Design & appearance

Building Skills

The juxtaposition of the content and text on the page is too crowded, or ordered in a way which makes it hard for the reader to follow what is being presented on the page. Font size, type or color is inaccessible to most readers, or background is so busy that the reader can't read content.
Approaching Proficiency

Individual pages may be a bit cluttered. Background choices or font colors may be a bit hard to see/read. 1-2 graphics may be low quality.
Proficient

The pages are uncluttered and font/background choices are easy to ready. There is balance between posted content and text. Graphics are visible and not pixelated.
Exceeds Proficiency

There was evidenced care used in the choice/design of template. The background/template compliments the purpose of the author and enhances the user experience. There is ample white space used to break up content sections, and font choice/colors and design elements add significant value to the overall site.
CUPS & grammar

Building Skills

CUPS and grammar mistakes are so prevalent that they distract from content and negatively affect the appearance of professionalism.
Approaching Proficiency

There are 3-5 CUPS or grammar mistakes throughout the whole site
