Major Regions of the US Poster Project Major Regions of the US Project Students will create a poster depicting the major regions of the US, including landmarks. Unique facts about each region can include climate, economic information (such as goods they export), or other things the region is known for. Correct Information	Basic Map has 2-4 land forms or bodies of water correctly labeled. Students include at least 2 facts that are unique to each region.	Very Good Map includes at least 4 land forms or bodies of water. Students include at least 4 facts that are unique to each region.	Excellent Map includes at least 6 land forms or bodies of water. Students include at least 6 facts that are unique to the region.
Organization	Basic Student's organization is fair, may be somewhat cluttered or does not have any symbols to represent goods of the area, has multiple spelling errors.	Very Good Student's organization is very good, little to no clutter or crowding. Some symbols may be confusing. May have a few spelling errors.	Excellent Student's have excellent organization. All information is appropriate with no clutter or crowding. Symbols are easy to understand. No spelling errors.
Map Design	Basic Student's map does not accurately represent the country or does not label regions appropriately. Map does not contain a key to help decipher information.	Very Good Most of the map is an accurate visual representation of the U.S. and most regions are labeled appropriately. Map contains a key to that helps decipher some information on the map.	Excellent The map is an accurate visual representation of the U.S. and all regions are labeled appropriately. Map contains a key to help decipher important information.
