Ratio Project Poster Ratios and/or Rates Poster rubric This project requires students to construct a poster for display. Students will create (a) word problems about rates and/or ratios on the poster, showing calculations as how to solve. The poster should be colorful, creative with pictures or drawings. A rough draft must be completed prior to working on the final poster. The poster is to b be completed on poster paper or blank paper. The group will present to the class. Content Knowledge/Explanation	Fair Does not have all of the relevant information of the poster. There is some basic information but not enough information presented.	Good Poster includes all relevant information. Student's work exhibits a standard level of understanding. Overall work is well-organized and/or easily understood.	Exceeds The poster includes all information relevant to the topic. The poster is creative, clear and concise. The student added information above what was required for assignment.
Work quality/effort	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed. Some directions were followed.	Good The work was done with good effort that displays what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this project and presentation. Most directions were followed.	Exceeds The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is beyond literate and proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into the project exceeds standards. All directions were clearly followed.
Visual	Fair The student did not include pictures or drawings.	Good The student included incomplete pictures or drawings..	Exceeds The student included complete and colorful pictures or drawings.
Use of Math	Fair The student had more than one math mistake, didn't include a formula, or a coherent writing response.	Good The student had one minor mistake and included one math term. The student used the correct formula but computed the answer with one error.The student provided and incomplete short constructed response.	Exceeds The student used all math terms correctly. The student used the correct formula and computed and math correctly. The student included a short constructed response that included an original math problem.
