Excellent Student was able to create a sentence with proper sentence structure by properly placing noun, verbs and other elements of a sentence.
Senence Dicatation	Fair Student was unable to produce a sentence.	Good Student was able to dictate a sentence. The sentence was poorly dictated or fragmented.	Excellent Student was able to dictate their sentence, and accurately state sentence elements.
Participation	Fair Student did not participate in the read-aloud, or during the activity.	Good Student was engaged during some of the lesson. Student was off task or not participating in all parts.	Excellent Student was engaged during the entire lesson. Answered questions, followed procedures, and was a participant in all activities.
