Third Grade Rhythmic Assessment/Vocabulary #2 Q1 2012 
MLR A2 Notation and Terminology: Students identify and read musical notation, symbols, and terminology. Students will demonstrate their understanding of the 4/4 time signature, quarter note, quarter rest, eighth notes (sets of 2), steady beat, barline, double barline, measure and repeat sign. Students will answer questions in regard to the vocabulary and demonstrate steady beat and rhythm using snare drum techniques.
