Knowledge	Poor Answer is not correct	Fair Answer is correct but with some mistakes	Good Answer is correct, some minor mistakes	Great Answer is correct but required some help/instruction to complete	Excellent Answer is perfect. Shows great deal of understanding of course material being assessed
Thinking and Inquiry	Poor Answer is not correct	Fair Answer is correct but with some mistakes	Good Answer is correct, some minor mistakes	Great Answer is correct but required some instruction to complete	Excellent Answer is perfect. Student extends his/her learning and demonstrates depth of thought.
Communication	Poor Student can not explain reasoning and thinking behind answer	Fair Student can explain thinking but does not use proper terminology	Good Student can explain answer by using most of the correct terminology	Great Students can explain using almost all of the correct terminology.	Excellent Student can explain answer by using all of the correct terminology. Student is fluent and eloquent in his/her explanations.
