Supporting Evidence	Level 4 Student response has several examples which support the ideas stated.	Level 3 Student response has at least two examples which support the ideas stated	Level 2 Student response has at least one example to support the idea stated and/or support given in not clear.	Level 1 Student response does not have any examples to support their ideas.
Making Connections	Level 4 Student response includes a connection with another book, a connection with the world and/or a connection to personal experiences.
