French Skit
French Skit
As a group create a skit that takes place in a specific location. You must create a dialogue and use props. Lines should be memorized. Students must use 20 vocabulary words from current and previous chapter. Students must use "ĂȘtre", "avoir", "aimer" and other -er verbs in the skit. Students must also use grammar devices such as adjectives as nouns. Students must correctly use the positive and negative in the script.

Utilizes a variety of vocabulary and sentences are rather short.

Utilizes limited or minimal vocabulary expressions and sentences are short.
Poor
Utilizes limited vocabulary, some of which is inaccurate or irrelevant to the task. Script has been sent through translator.

Nearly perfect French pronunciation.
Good/ Well done
Good French pronunciation, but a few words are mispronounced.

Several French words are mispronounced.

More than half of French words are mispronounced.
Speaking Clarity & Fluency

Speaks clearly and distinctly all the time with no unnatural pauses or distractions.
Good/ Well done
Speaks clearly and distinctly all the time with no more than one unnatural pause or distraction.

Speaks clearly and distinctly most of the time with no more than one unnatural pause or distraction. Most lines were not memorized taking away from the authencity of the script.
Poor
Often mumbles and cannot be understood OR has multiple distractions and unnatural pauses. NO lines were memorized making the script seem unreal.
Preparedness

Group is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed.
All lines were memorized which added to the authenticity of the script. Props are included.
Good/ Well done
Group seems prepared but might have needed a couple more rehearsals. Most lines were memorized which added to the authencity of the script. Some props are included.

The group is somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking.

Skit dialogue copy
Excellent/ Awesome
Turned in skit dialogue was typed or clearly written with all players' names on it, and highlighted each speaker's line. Few errors in French.
Good/ Well done
Dialogue copy turned in with all names and lines labeled and marked. Dialogue has no more than 5 spelling or accent errors. No more than 2 errors in conjugation or agreement.
Fair/ Ok
Dialogue turned in but script is not easy to follow. Actor's names are not clearly labeled or in order. More than 5 errors in spelling, accent marks, conjugation, or agreement.
Poor
No dialogue copy.
