	Excellent 10 pts	Good 9 pts	Fair 8 pts	Poor 7 pts
Script Accuracy	Excellent The script is accurate based on the story.	Good The script is mostly accurate based on the story.	Fair The script is mostly accurate based on the story, but includes un-needed information.	Poor The script strays from the story.
Selection	Excellent Students selected a primary and significant section of text, vital to the plot, development of character, or theme.	Good Students selected a fairly significant section of text.	Fair Students selected a section of text with little or no action.	Poor Students selected a minor/trivial section of text.
Working with Others	Excellent Student consistently helped in writing the script and in practicing for the performance. Student always listened to and supported peers.	Good Student helped some in writing the script and in practicing for the performance. Student listened and supported peers most of the time.	Fair Student often left writing the script and practicing to his group members. Students rarely listened to or supported peers.	Poor Student didn't contribute to the script much or student goofed off and didn't stay on task during writing sessions.
