Tables Graphs and Equations
Tables Graphs and Equations
Students gather data on a real world scenario in which an independent and dependent variable is identified, an equaton in the form of y = mx + b is made, a textured graph and equation is constructed, a supporting table of values is made , a verbal description of the scenario. Other key elements that must be identified include the slope, whether of not the slope is positive or negative, y intercept and whether or not a linear relationship exist. The graph, equation and table will be displayed on poster board and the description of the scenario along with the other key information will be typed or neatly written and attached to the poster board.

Visual Display
Revist objectives/guideline(C)
Neither the graph nor the equation are presented in a textured manner
Unit objectives almost mastered(B)
Either the graph or equation is presented neatly in a textured manner or the presentation is sloppy
Unit objectives mastered(A)
The graph and equation are presented in a textured manner and is neat.
Accuracy of Basic Data Presentation
Revist objectives/guideline(C)
The independent and dependent variables are incorrectly displayed on the graph axis and the table values do not correctly respresent the wirtten equation that may or may not be written in slope intercept form .
Unit objectives almost mastered(B)
The independent and dependent variables are correctly displayed on the graph axis but all table values do not correctly respresent the written equation or the the table values match the equation but the variables are not identified corretly.
Unit objectives mastered(A)
The independent and dependent variables are correctly displayed on the graph axis, all table values correctly respresent a corretly written equation in y = mx + b form..
Response objectives
Revist objectives/guideline(C)
One of the three responses are accurate: labeling of slope as negative or positive, identification of y intercept and the verbal description of the scenario is neat and grammatically correct.
Unit objectives almost mastered(B)
Two of the three responses are accurate: labeling of slope as negative or positive, identification of y intercept and the verbal description of the scenario is neat and grammatically correct.
Unit objectives mastered(A)
All responses are accurate: labeling of slope as negative or positive, identification of y intercept and the verbal description of the scenario is neat and grammatically correct.
