Thankful Turkey Thankful Turkey Students will create a "I am thankful" turkey. There needs to be four reasons for why the student is thankful. Each feather will contain a different word; there will be four to six feathers in total. Presentation	Needs Improvement The turkey is missing words of things the students is thankful for. Student did not complete drawing of what they are thankful for .	Good The student has 2 words of what they are thankful for.	Excellent The student went above and beyond and used 3 or more words to describe what they're thankful for. The student neatly wrote the words.
Sentences	Needs Improvement Not using nicest/neatest handwriting. Not using correct spelling.Student only wrote 1 word.	Good There are 2 words with a few misspellings. The student shows that he/she understands correct spelling. The student is using good handwriting.	Excellent The 3 words are spelled correctly; the student uses detailed words to describe what he/she is thankful for. The student clearly took his/hers time with writing neatly.
Details	Needs Improvement The student only applied glue to certain areas and the turkey was not neat . Did not complete the words on the feathers.	Good The glue is applied only to the specified areas and the turkey is neat .	Excellent The student shows his/hers own creative within their own turkey.
