Student is breathing properly and supporting the tone to the best of his/her ability.

Student rarely breathes properly. Performance lacks breath support of the tone.

Student stands with correct posture and sings with a proper singing stance with no visible tension.

Student's posture is somewhat correct and most of the time demonstrates a proper singing stance with limited visible tension.

Student often shows tension or improper body position during singing.

Student rarely demonstrates proper posture, tension is highly visible in the throat, jaw and body.
Demonstrated No Preparation

Student does not demonstrate any aspects of how to stand properly.
