Requirements	Excellent Has all the required components (more than 4 conversations - 8 text messages each, all conversations related to the story)	Good Has all the required components (4 conversations - 8 text messages each, all conversations related to the story)	Fair Only 3 conversations	Poor Less than 3 conversations
Content	Excellent All conversations make sense. Reader can follow what's going on easily.	Good Most of the conversations make sense. Reader can follow what's going on easily.	Fair Conversations are a bit confusing. More talking would have helped the reader understand things better.	Poor Reader is really confused. Not sure what's going on.
Mechanics	Excellent No errors in spelling or punctuation, unless purposely done for effect (i.e. written in "texting" language)	Good Minimal errors, only with more difficult words.	Fair Quite a few errors, even with everyday words.	Poor Many, many errors. You need to read your work over, or get it checked first.
Creativity	Excellent Extra details/effort put into assignment to make it interesting, humorous, suspenseful, etc. Has a WOW factor.	Good Well done. Messages are thoughtful and interesting.	Fair Messages get the job done.	Poor Messages don't get the job done. You needed to put more thought into this.
