Emotion	Poor Poem was not emotional, and it was evident that little or no effort was put into the writing creating a dull poem.	Fair Poem conveyed a small amount of emotion, but the writer did not draw from personal experiences of try to touch the reader through his or her words.	Good Poem conveyed a strong, real emotion which came from the writer's unique perspective on the topic he or she was writing about.
Figuartive language	Poor 0-1 Types of figurative language highlighted and labled correctly.	Fair 2-4 types of figurative language highlighted and labled correctly.	Good Five types of different figurative language higlighted and labled correctly.
Poetic Elements	Poor This is not a poem. It does not establish any sort of rythm or pattern and sounds more like pros.	Fair Student tried their best, but poem still is not true poetry because they did not establish a rythm or pattern.	Good Poem had a since of rythm and sounds like true poetry.
