Identifying The Theme - scoring guide
Scoring guide to measure how well someone has identified and explained a theme from a literary work. This uses a 1 - 4 scale to be in sync with our school's grade scale.

You have identified a key theme from this story in a concise way, your theme statement could be applied to anyone's life. Moreover, you have connected the theme to other books, or in some way talked about how this theme was developed through the plot or character changes.
