Geometric Shape Animals Geometric Shape Animals Students will draw an animal using only geometric shapes. They will break down the complex organic shape of any animal into simpler geometric shapes. Geometrical Shape Animals
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Use of Geometric shapes.	Poor Student does not use Geometric shapes in the picture appropriately to create an image.	Fair Student makes some use of Geometric shapes but does not effectively create an image with the shapes and cannot describe it.	Good Student uses only Geometric shapes to create an image with a detailed description of how the image was inspired.
Effort	Poor Student does not show effort in creating, quickly places shapes, and it is messy. Student is not focused on the picture (ex. spends class time talking to friends.)	Fair Student shows some effort in the picture but it is rushed. Student student is focused some of the time.	Good Student shows effort in accurately using the shapes. It is not rushed. It is neat. Student is focused on the image created with the shapes.
Clean up	Poor Student does not clean area, leaves a mess, leaves materials out, has others clean for him/her. Student talks to classmates and is not ready for dismissal.	Fair Student makes an effort cleaning but leaves materials out. Student talks to classmates and is not ready for dismissal.	Good Student's area is cleaned into the same condition it was when entering the room. Materials are put away and student is ready for dismissal.
