Effective/Ineffective Communication Communication Breakdown Student will produce a skit identifying a communication breakdown. The skit show insight into language choice and multiple meanings, illumination miscommunication, grab attention, and flow smoothly with partners playing well off one another. Communication

Script	Excellent Script has an in-depth, complete, logical story with a beginning, middle and end. Each character has 6 or more lines for each skit.	Good Script is complete, logical story with a beginning, middle and end. Each character may have the required lines, but some lines are short(one word) responses.	Fair Script is complete with a few rough spots; needs more detail. Each communication script has less than 6 lines for each person.	Poor Script is incomplete. Very few lines in either script for effective/ineffective communication.
Communication Blockers/TALKN points	Excellent Presenters' skit helped illuminate miscommunication by using 3 or more forms of communication blockers. Effective communication used all the TALKN points.	Good Presenters' skit helped illuminate some, included 2 communication blockers, aspects of miscommunication. Effective communication did not have all the TALKN points.	Fair Presenters' skit helped illuminate one aspect of miscommunication. Effective communication missing 2 or more TALKN points.	Poor Presenters' skit did not help illuminate miscommunication. Effective communication did not use TALKN points within skit.
Content	Excellent Students show a full understanding of all categories of the topic. All 3 areas of communication are written within each skit.	Good Students show a good understanding of all categories of the topic. Missing a part of communication within the skits.	Fair Students show a fair understanding of most categories of the topic. Missing two areas of communication in the skits.	Poor Does not seem to understand the categories of the topic that well.
