Group/Team Work 
This rubric assesses a student's performance during in-class activities, including computer based learning activities and 'unplugged' activities that do not use the computers.This rubric measures the work of an individual in a group/team. In the comments section, you must rate each memeber of your group including yourself. Please rate them out of 4 points. Look at the rubric to determine where each students falls.

Student demonstrates excellent work effort and
work quality.Shows great pride in their work. Little or no prompting is need from instructor.

Student usually demonstrates good work effort and work quality. Shows pride in their work. Some prompting is needed for instructor.
Fair

Student seldom demonstrates good work effort and work quality. Shows little pride in their work. Usually needs to be prompted by instructor.
Poor

Student rarely demonstrates good work effort or work quality.

STAYS ON TASK

Students are expected to stay on task from start to finish of tasks.

Excellent

Student completed the task that was assigned with very little or no prompting from instructor. Work area cleaned, picked up and all items put away.
Good

Student usually completes the task that was assigned with little prompting from the team or the instructor. Work area mostly cleaned, picked up and put away.
Fair

Student has to be prompted to complete the task assignment by team members or instructor. Work area was not cleaned, picked up and put away.
Poor

Student rarely stays on task.

ENGAGEMENT AND BEHAVIOR

Students are engaged at all times.

Excellent

The student is actively engaged in the activity from beginning to end, asking questions when he cannot find answers alone and assisting other students when needed.
Good

The student is mostly engaged with the project and completes the demands of the project to a satisfactory level.
Fair

The student is not actively engaged with the activity and has not gained enough insight from the material. The student makes little progress and is occasionally distracted by other students and may also occasionally distract his or her classmates.
Poor

The student demonstrates little or no engagement in the activity and is frequently distracted. The student never asks for help, is usually distracted or off-task, and often prevents his or her classmates from completing their own assignment.

COOPERATION

Students are expected to cooperate with team members.

Excellent

Student cooperates with other students and makes an excellent contribution to group learning.
Good

Student makes a satisfactory effort to contribute to the group and never distracts the group from its goals.
Fair

Student does not contribute to the group effort and occasionally distracts the group from its central goals.
Poor

Student consistently fails to stay on track with the group project, and often keeps the group from succeeding by distracting other members of the group.
