Hand Washing Lesson As a class, we will talk about the importance of hand washing.

Group Introduction 20 pts Reading the book and singing the song as a class.	Needs Improvement Not paying attention and/ or playing around instead of participating. Corrected multiple times.	Fair Had to correct inappropriate behavior during lesson time, but then started participating.	Good Listened to the book. Participated during the lesson and singing.	Points Recieved
Individual Lesson 20 pts Each student will color their hand washing steps paper to take home.	Needs Improvement Playing around and did not finish assignment.	Fair Had to correct multiple times and/or move else where to complete assignment.	Good Finished the individual lesson and followed directions.	Points Recieved
Handprint Mural 20 pts The students will work in small groups to discuss hand washing and how important it is. Then completing the handprint mural.	Needs Improvement Was not following directions or participating in group discussion.	Fair Was not paying attention to the group discussion but after giving warnings finally started to follow directions and work with their group.	Good Properly worked with their group to complete the discussion and handprint mural.	Points Recieved
Hand Washing with Adult 20 pts The students will work with an adults help to properly wash their hands.	Needs Improvement Not following directions given to the by the adult/ teacher.	Fair Had to correct but ended up starting to follow the directions and successfully completing the hand washing.	Good Followed the directions given by the teacher and successfully washed their hands as they had been taught.	Points Recieved
Class Discussion 20 pts Together the class will talk about germs and hand washing.	Needs Improvement Not participating in class discussions and not paying attention.	Fair Had to correct and call on them to participate but ended up joining the class discussion.	Good Participated in class discussion and payed attention to what their classmates had to say.
