Neatness	Poor The paper is difficult to read due to the poor and disorganized writing.	Fair The paper is hard to read in some areas.	Good The appearance of the paper is organized and it is easy to read and understand.
Content	Poor The information in the paper is relevant, it relates to the book. The teacher can understand the book from the paper. It is clear the student read the book as the student received a passing AR score.	Fair The information in the paper does not relate to the character. The student does not completely answer the questions. The teacher is left wondering:Did the student actually read the book? The AR score is low.	Good The content shows detailed knowledge of the character ans it was evident that the student read and understood the book as evidenced by a passing AR score.
Contains All Required Elements	Poor The paper does not have all the required elements and is incomplete. It was turned in late.	Fair This paper is not complete and only has a couple required elements. Was turned in on time.	Good This report contains all the required elements, name, date, AR score. It is complete and was turned in on time.
