Student group did not use class time whatsoever. They also distracted peers in his or her general area making it difficult for them to work as well.

Student group spent a great deal of class wasting time. They did not stay on task and requires constant prompting from the teacher.

Student group stayed on task for the most part. They may have needed prompting once or twice per period however were able to make some use of his or her time.

Student group made excellent use of class time, asked questions and stayed on task during the allotted work time.
Use of digital media

PSA cannot be followed. Graphics are not relevant to the topic making it so that the audience cannot understand what the creator was trying to convey. The movie is well under or over two to four minutes.

Digital media is not used very well. Graphics are not relevant and transitions and editing make the video very hard to understand or follow. The movie runs about two to four minutes

Digital media is used correctly. Students are able to create a basic production. Graphics are somewhat relevant and the audience is able to follow along and understand the movie with little trouble. The movie was within the two to four minutes

Digital media is used correctly and effectively. Students are able to splice video and use proper effects so as to not take away from the information conveyed. Graphics are relevant to the chosen topic. The movie used the two to four minutes wisely.
