Note Accuracy	Minimum Not Met Less than 50% of notes are sung on the correct pitch and/or octave.	Poor 50-69% of notes are sung on the correct pitch and/or octave.	Fair 70-89% of notes are sung on the correct pitch and/or octave.	Good 90-99% of notes are sung on the correct pitch and/or octave.	Excellent 100% of notes are sung on the correct pitch and/or octave.
Rhythmic Accuracy	Minimum Not Met Less than 50% of rhythms are executed with accuracy.	Poor Rhythms are executed with between 50-69% accuracy.	Fair Rhythms are executed with between 70-89% accuracy.	Good Rhythms are executed with between 90-99% accuracy.	Excellent Rhythms are executed with 100% accuracy.
Tone	Minimum Not Met The sound is mostly thin and brittle. There is complete strain in different octaves.	Poor The sound is somewhat thin and brittle. There is apparent strain in different octaves.	Fair The sound is somewhat warm and full. There is some strain in different octaves.	Good The sound is mostly warm and full. There is some strain in different octaves.	Excellent The sound is warm and full. No evidence of strain in any octave.
Articulation	Minimum Not Met No lyrics can be clearly understood.	Poor Few lyrics can be clearly understood.	Fair Some lyrics can be clearly understood.	Good Most lyrics can be clearly understood.	Excellent All lyrics can be clearly understood.
Musicianship	Minimum Not Met The student demonstrates no confidence in themselves and does not evoke the music in their posture and expression.	Poor The student demonstrates little confidence in themselves and barely evokes the music in their posture and expression.	Fair The student demonstrates some confidence in themselves and somewhat evokes the music in their posture and expression.	Good The student demonstrates good confidence in themselves and mostly evokes the music in their posture and expression.	Excellent The student demonstrates complete confidence in themselves and fully evokes the music in their posture and expression.
