Service Learning Project
Service Learning Project
For service learning to provide students with valuable results, students need authentic service opportunities and the goals should be tied to their academic learning (Karnes & Bean, 2009). Teachers should require students to keep a journal and planning log to show the process of planning, setting goals, keeping records, and writing reflections. Through service learning students may develop skills that will last a lifetime.
