Writing Mechanics	Poor The writing is vague and unclear. It contains many spelling or grammatical errors.	Fair The writing is somewhat clear and concise. Excellent Writing is descriptive, providing detailed information. An extensive vocabulary is used to keep the reader interested and informed.
Creativity	Poor Either a premade layout is used or a bland layout is used. Not creative or visually appealing	Fair Layout has the basic elements included in the assigned list, but layout is either not creative or visually appealing	Good Layout is used with additional image boxes and elements added. Shows some creativity in design.	Excellent Imaginitive and original use of layout. Elements are added to create a dynamic layout with little or appropriate white space.
