Following Directions	Strong Completed all steps without any errors. Gave careful attention to detail.	Capable Adequately completed all steps with few errors. Shows understanding of project expectations.	Developing Made an effort to complete tasks accurately, however some of the work was unclear.	Emerging Absence of too many steps because of lack of understanding of the project's objectives.
Creativity	Strong Moon is displayed excellently. There are no cookie smudges or broken cookies.	Capable Moon is displayed very well for each day. Free of cookie smudges. One of two broken cookies.	Developing Moon is displayed adequately everyday.<BR> One or two cookie smudges. Three of more broken cookies.	Emerging No creativity at all. Students rushed through project. Many cookie smudges and broken cookies.
Punctuality	Strong Student completed task on time.	Capable Student was not able to complete 1 – 2 parts of the project on time.	Developing Student had difficulty completing most of the project on time.	Emerging Student did not use time wisely.
Moon Phase Accuracy	Strong All moon phases are correct.	Capable Student had 1 or 2 phases incorrect.	Developing Student had 3 or more phases incorrect.	Emerging Student had 4 or more phases incorrect.
