Forehand strike	Poor Holds paddle crooked. Doesn't step with correct foot. Doesn't bring arm back prior to strike. Doesn't keep wrist tight. Doesn't stand in "ready position".	Fair Holds paddle in "hand shake" position. Stands in "ready position". Doesn't step with correct foot. Follows through but with little to no control.	Good Holds paddle in "hand-shake" position. Steps with correct foot. Stands in "ready position". Prepares, strikes, follows through. Follow through has a lot of control.
Backhand strike	Poor Holds paddle crooked. Doesn't step with correct foot. Doesn't bring arm back prior to strike. Doesn't keep wrist tight. Doesn't stand in "ready position". Doesn't look over shoulder.	Fair Holds paddle in "hand shake" position. Stands in "ready position". Doesn't step with correct foot. Doesn't look over shoulder all the time. Follows through but with little to no control.	Good Holds paddle in "hand-shake" position. Steps with correct foot. Stands in "ready position". Prepares, strikes, follows through. Looks over opposite shoulder. Follow through has a lot of control.
2 v 2 Volley	Poor Doesn't move to the ball. Strikes with the paddle but makes no contact. Strikes the ball with no control. Has no control over the aim of the ball.	Fair Moves to the ball. Strikes the ball with no control. Strikes the ball with different amounts of force. Performs both forehand & backhand. Strikes the ball with some control over aim.	Good Moves to the ball. Strikes the ball with control. Controls the amount of force. Performs with both forehand & backhand. Strikes the ball with complete control over aim.
