(and/or) The student did not survey the entire class or struggled making appropriate choices while surveying the class.	Great Effort The student created an appropriate survey question and completed the class survey.
Analyze Data A paragraph explaining data collected.	Needs More Effort No paragraph is included or only one sentence is given.	Good Effort The student partially analyzes the data. Some bigger ideas may be missing. and/OR The paragraph included lacks appropriate conventions.	Great Effort The student gives a thorough paragraph analyzing the data. Conventions are appropriate for 5th grade.
Neatness Project is creative and neatly done.	Needs More Effort Project lacks organization and neatness.	Good Effort Project is organized but may lack neatness OR the project is neatly done but lacks organization.	Great Effort Project is well organized and neatly done.
