Good
Picture graph is correctly constructed, but is missing a part of graph. Numerical details are accurate and defined.
Excellent
Picture graph is correctly constructed and has all parts. Maximum effort detailing the data discovered.
Data Graphed/Technology
Poor
Data graphed does not match data collected. Zero sources recorded. No evidence found to indicate mastery of technology.
Fair
More than one source of data is not accurately represented. Fallacy in data illustrated in pictorial. Minimal resource documentation. Technology evidenced.
Good
Source of data collected is cited. Information is charted with accuracy and detail. Mastery of technology is indicated by the representation of data.
Excellent
Data is graphed with maximum effort. Sources match data collected in an effective representation. Student used technology and resources in an exemplar format.
Comparison/conclusion identifiable
Poor
No data compared or contrasted.
Fair
Minimal presented or illustrated.
Good
Student put forth effort to represent the data gathered and made comparisons or contrasted different elements.
Excellent
Student put forth maximum effort to translate data in pictorial form. Conclusions were easily read and clear in viewer understanding.
Created Questions
Poor
Student is unable to write questions to investigate their mathematical interest.
Fair
Student did not gather enough information to adequately create conjectures. Student unable to draw conclusions about their discovery.
Good
Student investigated a topic that required effort, compared data and illustrated the findings.
Excellent
Student put forth maximum effort to find comparisons and contrasts within the scope of the topic. They illustrated their conjectures in clear format.
Findings
