Organisation and Planning
Poor
Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information. No planning evident.
Fair
Audience has difficulty following presentation because information jumps around. Very little evidence of planning.
Good
Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow. It is clear that good planning and organisation has taken place.
Excellent
Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow. It is evident that outstanding planning, organisation and time-management has taken place.
Subject Knowledge/Research/Content
Poor
Student does not have grasp of information. Little research and very little content.
Fair
Student is uncomfortable with information and topic. Minimal research has taken place and content is limited.
Good
Student is at ease with content and terms. Information and topic is not foreign to student. It is clear that research has taken place and adequate content has been provided.
Excellent
Student demonstrates full knowledge (more than required) and understanding of topic, information and terms. It is clear that ample research has taken place. Content is comprehensive, well summarized and interesting.
Graphics
Poor
Student uses superfluous graphics or no graphics. Supporting apps have not been used.
Fair
Student occasionally uses graphics that rarely support text and presentation. Pictures are badly chosen. Supporting apps used but not well.
Good
Student's graphics relate to text and presentation. Pictures are well chosen. Tools and apps have been used although there is room for improvement.
Excellent
Student's graphics explain and reinforce screen text and presentation. Pictures are well chosen. Tools and apps have been very well utilised to put information across.
Following instructions
Poor
Student has not followed instructions.
Fair
The bare minimum has been done in order to comply with requirements. Several steps have been left out or completed in the wrong order.
Good
Instructions have been reasonably well followed with only one or two directions ommitted.
Excellent
All instructions have been followed and learner has made sure that all aspects are included and covered. It is evident that the learners has checked the instructions more than once.
Elocution/volume of voiceovers
Poor
Student mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.
Fair
Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.
Good
Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.
Excellent
Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
Creativity and originality
Poor
No creativity has been used. No original ideas included.
Fair
Learner has attempted to do something slightly different.
Good
Learner has handed in a task which is original and shows efforts at creativity.
Excellent
An exciting and completely 'out-of-the-box' presentation has been hnded in. Ideas are original and very creative. This presentation video stands out from the rest.
Final presentation/Edit process
Poor
No editing has taken place. Errors have been left in video presentation.
Fair
Minimal editing has taken place. Final presentation lacks a 'finished' quality.
Good
Evidence of editing. Little or few errors still in the video presentation.
Excellent
The final presentation is flawless. It is evident that the learner has take great pains to edit their work repeatedly.
