OBJECTIVE: Students will be able to do the following: - Identify the value of groups of pennies, nickels, pennies and quarters up to $1.00. - Comprehend how currency amounts can be grouped and exchanged to solve problems - Understand ho the decimal point separates the whole from parts - Work in groups to determine the value of a given set of coins - Work in groups to identify, draw, label, color, and determine the number of coins needed to add up to $1.00 for their selected coin.
