Collaborative and Work Skills Collaborative Work Skills For First grade, this rubric will be used by the teacher to assess collaboration of group members. In upper grades, it can be used by group members to assess each other on the different categories. Working with Others	Excellent Almost always listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others.	Good Usually listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others.	Fair Often listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others, but sometimes is not a good team member.	Poor Rarely listens to, shares with, and supports the efforts of others. Often is not a good team player.
Quality of Work	Excellent Provides work of the highest quality. Project looks neat and student used creativity.	Good Provides high quality work. Project looks neat.	Fair Provides work that occasionally needs to be checked or redone by other group members to ensure quality.	Poor Provides work that usually needs to be checked or redone by others to ensure quality.
Contributions	Excellent Constantly provides useful ideas when participating in the group. A definite leader who contributes a lot of effort.	Good Usually provides useful ideas when participating in the group. A strong group member who tries hard.	Fair Sometimes provides useful ideas when participating in the group. A satisfactory group member who does what is required.	Poor Rarely provides useful ideas when participating in the group. May refuse to participate.
Work Time	Excellent Is always on task and is active in keeping the group on task.	Good Is usually on task and seldom strays to conversation outside of the task.	Fair Contributes to the group effort, but frequently strays to conversation outside of the task and/or actions sometimes make it difficult for the group to concentrate.	Poor Is rarely on task and frequently strays to conversation outside of the task and/or actions are counterproductive to the group effort.
