Characters	Poor Characters do not include a god or goddess. Names do not reflect Greek myths.	Good Characters include gods or goddesses. Names and personality reflect a myth.	Excellent Excellent character development that reflects the style of a myth including a god or goddess and mortals.
Conflict	Poor Conflict is confusing. Events do not make sense or need more details to understand the story.	Good Conflict is understandable but needs some improvement .	Excellent Conflict is excellent, interesting and reflects the elements of a myth-ex. pride, jealousy, or disobedience.
Consequences	Poor Consequences do not reflect an origin myth. The punishment does not fit the offense.	Good Something is created or changed in nature because of the consequences (like an origin myth).	Excellent Consequences fit the conflict and reflect those in the style of a myth (something is created or changed in nature).
Dialogue	Poor No dialogue.	Good Dialogue is included but some errors in form.	Excellent Excellent dialogue, punctuated correctly, and moves the story events along nicely.
