Storyboarding Project
	Excellent 25 pts	Good 20 pts	Fair 15 pts	Poor 10 pts
Pictures	Excellent Project includes 12 pictures which are attractive, give an excellent summary of the story, and demonstrate superior effort	Good Project includes 9-12 pictures which give a summary of the story	Fair Project uses less than 9 pictures or the pictures reflect less than the student's best effort	Poor The project includes an insufficient number of pictures which reflect little effort by the student
Appearance-Required Elements Written Report Plotline	Excellent The project is exceptionally well presented with obvious thought given to adding extras to improve its appearance. Rough draft, title, author and student name included.	Good The project is neat and attractively presented. One of the following missing: Rough draft, title, author or student name.	Fair The project reflects little effort to consider the attractiveness of the project. Two or more of the following missing: Rough draft, title, author or student name.	Poor The project reflects little time or effort spent for a five-week assignment.
Captions	Excellent Picture captions include more than the required explanation of the drawings. Excellent detail.	Good Picture captions include one sentence each that explains the caption.	Fair Student fails to write one sentence about each picture. Meaning is unclear.	Poor Very little or no explanation of the pictures is included.
Grammar/Punctuation	Excellent The student uses excellent grammar throughout. Correct use of punctuation throughout the project.	Good Grammar is essentially good having only 1-5 errors in either grammar or punctuatioin.	Fair Many errors in grammar are present and or puctuation.	Poor Student needs to give more attention and effort to the grammar and punctuation used.
Spelling	Excellent Excellent spelling is used with no errors present.	Good Spelling is essentially good having only 1-5 errors.	Fair Many errors in spelling are present	Poor Student needs to give more attention and effort to the spelling used
