The article/source submitted is either not current or not attached but is from a valid source, is pertinent to any content covered in class. Part of the article is missing.
Good Work
The article/source is not attached to written summary, or is from an invalid source and contains a brief mention of the content required. Part of the article is missing.
Unacceptable Work
Missing one of the following: The article/source chosen has no relevance to current news, history or geography. part of the article is missing or no article is attached.
Summary
Outstanding Work
The summary is written in paragraph form, 5-7 sentences and
contains the 5W's. The main idea of the article is clear and source is unplagiarized (quoted if necessary).
Well Done
The summary paragraph is written in a few sentences, less than 5. Is missing 1 of the 5 W's.
A summary of the main idea and important details are included, but lacking clarity. Some of the summary is copied from the article

The summary paragraph is written in a few sentences, is missing 2 of the 5 W's.

Unacceptable Work

Outstanding Work
