Quality of Annotations	Exceeding Thorough annotations that show thoughtful analysis. The annotations both summarize and evaluate the source. The annotations relates source to research project/question.	Meeting Annotations show analysis. There is either summary or evaluation of the source. The annotations relates source to research project/question & how it fits into it.	Approaching Annotations relate to topics. There is little to no summary or evaluation of sources. paragraphs long: There is some discussion of how the source relates to the research/question.	Novice Annotations reveal little analysis.
