Content & Development	Exceeding - Content is comprehensive, accurate, and persuasive.<BR> - Major points are stated clearly and are well supported.<BR>	Meeting - Content is accurate and persuasive.<BR> - Major points are stated.<BR> - Content and purpose of the writing are clear.<BR>	Approaching - Major points are addressed, but not well supported. <BR> - Responses are inadequate or do not address assignment.	Beginning - Content is incomplete.<BR> - Major points are not clear and /or persuasive.
Format Length	Exceeding - Analysis is at least the appropriate length as described for the assignment and includes references to both statements.	Meeting - Analysis is the appropriate length as described for the assignment and references at least one statement.	Approaching - Analysis is either adequate in length or references only one statement.	Beginning - Analysis is inadequate in length and does not reference each specific statement.
Data Referenced	Exceeding - Analysis contains st least several points of data and is appropriately referenced to each specific statement.	Meeting - Analysis contains some of the problem data in an appropriate manner.	Approaching - Analysis contains limited data from problems and is not appropriately referenced to each statement.	Beginning - Analysis does not include data from calculated problems or is not referenced to a specific statement.
Organization & Structure	Exceeding -Structure is clear and easy to follow.<BR> - Paragraph transitions are logical and maintain the flow of thought throughout the statement.<BR> - Conclusion is logical and flows from the body of the statement.	Meeting - Structure is mostly clear and easy to follow.<BR> - Paragraph transitions are present.<BR> - Conclusion is logical.	Approaching - Structure is not easy to follow. <BR> - Paragraph transitions need improvement.<BR> - Conclusion is missing.	Beginning - Organization and structure detract from the message.<BR> - Paragraphs are disjointed and lack transition of thoughts.
