Singing, signing and reading sol-mi in Grade 2 Steady Beat Student will demonstrate the ability to sing the interval of a minor 3rd. (Sol-Mi) individually or with others. Students will be able to read a minor 3rd (Sol-Mi) on the staff. Students will be able to show the correct Curwin Hand Signs for Sol-Mi. P=Progressing Student uses a singing voice but does not produce the correct minor 3rd interval. (Sol-Mi)	M=Meets Standard Student is able to sing a minor 3rd (Sol-Mi) but does not match the pitch set by the teacher.	E=Exceeds Standards Student is able to sing a minor 3rd (Sol-Mi) and can match the pitch set by the teacher.
Reading Sol-Mi on the staff Students read and sang the solfege syllables Sol-Mi of the song "Gobble Gobble" alone or with a partner.	N=Not making acceptable progress Student is unable to read and sing Sol-Mi on the staff at this time.	P=Progressing Student is able to read and sing Sol-Mi on the staff with 50% accuracy.
