Industrial Revolution Presentation Class Presentation Students are to present to the class a lesson on the assigned Industrial Revolution topic in a 5-10 minute presentation. Students are free to use any method they wish for the presentation. Some examples are: Power Point presentation, SMART Board Presentation, Prezi, etc... Students are also required to make a 10 question quiz on their presentation for the rest of the class to take. 	EXCELLENT 20 pts	WELL DONE 15 pts	AVERAGE 10 pts	POOR 5 pts
Information	EXCELLENT Student presented keen insight, filled with convincing examples.	WELL DONE Student presented a good lesson, but the facts and/or examples could have been better.	AVERAGE Student used some questionable facts and/or sources.	POOR No arguement or facts presented.
Time on Task	EXCELLENT Studnet stayed on task during the entire presentation.	WELL DONE Student mostly stayed on task during the presentation, but went off-topic once or twice.	AVERAGE Student was off topic 3-4 times, and/or was easily distracted.	POOR Student was off topic more than 4 times, and/or was easily distracted.
Use of Visual Aides	EXCELLENT Student used an excellent source of visual aides (power point, pictures, posters, video, etc...).	WELL DONE Student used a visual aid, but it was lacking in creativity.	AVERAGE Visual aid was quickly rushed together and/or did not add anything to the presentation.	POOR No visual aid used.
Time Limit	EXCELLENT Presentation was at least 5-10 minutes.	WELL DONE Presentation was at least 3-4 minutes, and/or used a video for more than 1/2 of the presentation (not counting student produced videos).	AVERAGE Presentation was at least 2-3 minutes, and/or used a video for more than 1/2 of the presentation (not counting student produced videos).	POOR Presentation was less than 2 minutes, and/or used a video for more than 1/2 of the presentation (not counting student produced videos).
Quiz	EXCELLENT Students completed a well-thought out, 10 question quiz.	WELL DONE There was a 10 question quiz, but some of the questions did not refer to the material the students covered, or were not important to the topic.	AVERAGE There were less than 10 questions in the quiz.	POOR No quiz.
