Posture	Superior Always displays correct posture in rehearsals.	Excellent Displays correct posture most of the time in class rehearsals.	Good 60% of the time	Fair 40% of the time	Poor 20% of the time	Unacceptable Does not meet Posture expectations
Engagement	Superior Is always on task and focused during rehearsals and shows exemplary focus.	Excellent Maintains focus and stays on task most of the time during rehearsals.	Good Has learned some of the music and stays on task and focused some of the time.	Fair Has only learned a small amount music in rehearsals due to time off task.	Poor Has learned very little music due to a majority of time spent off task.	Unacceptable Does not learn music due to a significant time off task and not paying attention to instruction.
Folder/Music	Superior Always holds folder correctly and folder contains all of the required music in a neat and organized manner.	Excellent Keeps a neat and organized folder but may need to keep the folder at a more appropriate angle for better voice projection.	Good Folder is somewhat organized and usable but needs to keep folder at a more appropriate angle.	Fair Folder angle is a reoccurring problem and materials are messy and unorganized.	Poor Frequently fails to hold music properly and is missing materials.	Unacceptable Does not have folder/music held up properly and/or is missing most (or all) of the material.
Overall Effort	Superior Maintains focus on the music and the director at all times, pays attention and always puts forth his/her best effort.	Excellent Student tries hard but has an occasional lack of effort.	Good Student displays effort that helps the overall sound of the group but has much room for improvement.	Fair Student puts for some effort but has much room to grow.	Poor Lacks focus most of the time and puts forth minimal effort in class.	Unacceptable Does not stay focused, is frequently distracted and puts forth very little effort.
