Discussion	Good Students is fully prepared to discuss. Has many discussion items. Can tell student has put great amount of thought into their discussion.	Fair Has minimal amount of discussion items. Student is expected to do more.	Poor Student did not come prepared for discussion.
Materials	Good Student is fully prepared with all materials to participate in Literature Circle (laptop, book, pencil, paper, discussion items and journal prompt).	Fair Isn't fully prepared or has little participation in group discussion.	Poor Student is missing majority of work and is not ready for discussion.
Listening Skills	Good Uses excellent listening skills. Student always pays full attention to the person speaking and does not interrupt.	Fair Has decent listening skills but may interrupt or talk to others instead on focusing on speaker.	Poor Does not use good listening skills.
