	Failing 4 pts	Poor 8 pts	Fair 12 pts	Good 16 pts	Excellent 20 pts
Punctuality	Failing Student was absent or did not report to class.	Poor The student was tardy more than 10 minutes to class.	Fair The student was 10 minutes tardy to class.	Good The student was tardy beyond the late bell to class.	Excellent The student was on time to class.
Preparedness	Failing The student refuses to change for class.	Poor The student never dresses out for class.	Fair The student sometimes dress out for class, but improperly.	Good The student dresses out for class, but not correctly.	Excellent The student always dress out properly for class.
Involvement	Failing Student did not participate at all in class.	Poor The student rarely listens to teacher, follows directions, and distracts from the discussion and lesson including, but not limited to excessive talking.	Fair The student sometimes listens to the teacher, follows directions and adds somewhat constructive elements to discussion/lesson.	Good The student usually listens to the teacher and follows directions and adds to the discussion/lesson.	Excellent Student always listens to the teacher, follows directions and adds constructively to discussion/lesson.
Effort	Failing Student gave no effort or energy in class.	Poor Student rarely participates and gives very little energy.	Fair Student sometimes participates and performs with moderate amount of energy.	Good Student usually gives 100% energy and effort.	Excellent Student always gives 100% energy and effort.
Behavior	Failing Student never adheres to classroom rules, and consistently distracts others from learning.	Poor Student rarely adheres by classroom rules, distracts others from learning and has to be reprimanded for doing so.	Fair Student sometimes adheres by classroom rules and at times distracts others from learning.	Good Student usually adheres by classroom rules and almost never distracts others from learning.	Excellent Student always adheres by classroom rules and never distracts others from learning.
