Reflection/Discussion Critique Rubric
Students critique an article or other assigned reading(s), supporting their position with reasons and textual evidence, as well as compare and contrast their ideas with those of the author and secondary sources. These reflections should indicate an understanding of- not simply a restatement of -the material, and should demonstrate the ability to respond to it not only by personal opinion, but with references from the reading and/or secondary sources to corroborate their opinions.
