	Poor 5 pts	Fair 10 pts	Good 15 pts	Excellent 20 pts
Fingering knowledge	Poor Most of the fingers used are wrong.	Fair Gets some of the fingering correct.	Good Gets much of the fingering right.	Excellent Gets all fingering correct.
Instrument Knowledge	Poor Does not know.	Fair Can tell teacher some of the parts and strings.	Good Can tell teacher most of the parts and strings but not all.	Excellent Knows all parts and strings on the Ukulele.
Hand Position/Posture	Poor Chords are played with incorrect hand position. chords are played with the incorrect fingers and/or frets	Fair Some chords are played with correct hand position and fingerings.	Good Most chords are played wiith correct hand position and fingerings.	Excellent All chords are played with the correct hand position and fingerings.
Tuning Mechanics	Poor Does not recognize the importance of tuning or can not decipher pitch differences.	Fair Tunes only to ear with no tuner.	Good Tunes by ear however does not re-check tuning 2 to 3 times	Excellent Knows how to tune using the tuner on the Tune That Uke!.. Checks tuning 2-3 times to ensure accuracy.
Note / Chord reading	Poor Does not understand what notation means, or can not perform it.	Fair Has difficulty following/ performing the musical notation.	Good Can understand and show some of the musical notation.	Excellent Can read, show, and perform understanding of musical notation.
