Design/Composition	EXCELLENT Student applies artistic principles with great skill.	WELL DONE Student applies artistic principles with fair skill.	AVERAGE Student tries to apply artistic principles but the overall result is not pleasing.	POOR Student does not appear to be able to apply any artistic principles to their work.
Appropriateness	EXCELLENT The work is in line with the assigned subject matter.	WELL DONE The work is mostly in line with the assigned subject, but could have been aligned a little bit better.
