Clarity	Poor All questions and answers were awkward and incomprehensible.	Fair Questions and answers were awkward and incomprehensible to understand at times.	Good Questions or answers were awkward at times but always understandable.	Excellent Questions and answers were clear and comprehensible.
Voice/Non-verbal Communication	Poor Pronunciation, inflection, and/or expression confused communication. Student difficult to hear and couldn't express himself/herself correctly.	Fair Some communication problems arose due to unclear pronunciation and/or expression. Student was sometimes difficult to hear and had some problems expressing himself /herself correctly.	Good No serious problems arose, but better pronunciation, inflection, and/or non-verbal communication could have made communication more efficient.	Excellent Pronunciation was clear, inflection and expressions were used to enhance communication.
Fluency	Poor Much effort was required to maintain the conversation. There were many long pauses.	Fair Some effort was required to maintain the conversation, with some long pauses.
