	You Still Have Work to Do 5 pts	You're Almost There 10 pts	Wow! Great Work! 15 pts
Spelling / Grammar 5 pts	You Still Have Work to Do Your poem has many spelling and grammar mistakes. You have made no effort to correct obvious mistakes.	You're Almost There Your poem has several errors in grammar and spelling which makes it difficult to understand.	Wow! Great Work! Your poem has no errors in spelling and/or grammar. Poem is clearly understood.
Poem Style 5 pts Line 1 - title/noun. Line 2 - two words that describe the first word Line 3 - expresses action Line 4 - four words that convey a feeling or statement about the title Line 5 - a synonym for the title.	You Still Have Work to Do Your poem has the correct number of syllables per line.	You're Almost There Some of your poem demonstrates correct syllable counting.	Wow! Great Work! Your poem demonstrates correct syllable counting, and you show clear understanding of the structure of a Cinquain.
Appropriateness of Language 5 pts	You Still Have Work to Do No thought has been given to word choices. This makes your poem difficult to relate to and understand.	You're Almost There Little thought has been given to word choices. Your poem would have been more meaningful with a few word substitutions.	Wow! Great Work! Your poem demonstrates good sensory details and appropriate use of language.
