Comprehension 35 pts	Excellent Students understand the words. They use body language appropriately while singing the song.	Very Good Students understand the song, but there is little effort made to utilize the body to enhance listening.	Okay Students understand some parts of the song, but they make many mistakes. Actions don't follow the words.	Needs Improvement Students did not understand the song and made many mistakes when singing. Actions didn't follow the words at all.
Expression and Style 35 pts	Excellent Voice is used well. Volume, stress and tone are used to enhance the song. Each student sings their part with appropriate voice technique.	Very Good Voice is generally used well, but there may be one or two times when something negatively impacted the audience (pronunciation, volume, tone).	Okay There is a noticeable issue with controlling voice. Volume may be consistently too loud or too soft, pronunciation errors impact understanding.	Needs Improvement Student is not interested in singing the song. There is no effort made to make the song engaging for the audience.
Articulation 30 pts	Excellent Student says the words of the song clearly and all of the words can be understood.	Very Good Student says some the words of the song clearly: most words can be understood.	Okay Student didn't say a lot of the words of the song clearly. Most of the song was not understandable.	Needs Improvement Student has no clue what he/she is singing.
