Content	Poor Student's presentation was very short or otherwise did not adequately demonstrate reflection, research, or preparation.	Fair Student presented a coherent overview of the topic, discussed English-language resources, and used and explained appropriate vocabulary.	Excellent Student demonstrated a superior level of reflection, research, and preparation.
Comprehension & Responses	Poor I needed to repeat the questions many times. Responses may have been off-topic, or the student may have hesitated frequently.	Fair Student understood questions asked the first time and responded adequately and fluidly.	Excellent Student had no difficulty understanding and responding fluidly with no hesitations.
Clarity	Poor Sentences were awkward and difficult to understand at times. Student made many grammatical errors.	Fair Sentences were clear and comprehensible with few errors.	Excellent Sentences were clear, comprehensible, and natural. Student made no grammatical errors.
Pronunciation	Poor Student's pronunciation was incomprehensible or made understanding very difficult.	Fair Student's pronunciation was mostly accurate and comprehensible. Student pronounced all final "s" and final "ed" sounds correctly.	Excellent Student's pronunciation was like a native speaker's.
Fluency	Poor Student was unable to deliver a comprehensible presentation. Student paused frequently and may have spoken French instead at times.	Fair Student hesitated and paused at times, but the flow of the presentation was still fluid overall.	Excellent Student was able to communicate clearly and fluidly with no difficulty.
